Course Description :

 

In this 5-hour curriculum, you will learn the core principles, practices, and tools of effective project management in the context of humanitarian and development work.  The content of this curriculum is aligned to the Project DPro Guide.

This certificate program is designed for humanitarian and development workers and partner agency staff that need the core essentials of Project Management.

The curriculum includes five courses and an exam:

 

•    Managing a Project (30-min)
•    Designing a Project (90-min)
•    Planning a Project (60-min)
•    Implementing a Project (45-min)
•    Closing a Project (30-min)
•    Project Management Essentials Exam (45-min)

IMPORTANT: The curriculum is structured so that courses are completed in order. Once all the courses are completed, you can take the Project Management Essentials certificate exam. A passing score of 75% is required to obtain the Project Management Essentials certificate and badge. You can take the exam as many times as needed to achieve a passing score.
